This site is dedicated to all of my multicultural nieces and nephews. My passion is to serve you. To serve the people who struggle to love their curly hair daily.
I have always stuck out in the “normal” world. I was a spirited curly haired kid myself once. Being different allows me to see the world in a different light. I work with the community. Embracing diversity, and re-defining what should be considered beautiful, too.
I started in Kansas. Yup, I’m a Midwest girl. I had many ideas and passions in life. Growing up in a multicultural military family I learned many skills in professionalism. Starting with simple beginnings in a single parent home. My family always taught me to build for the future generations.
I went through many trials and errors before getting here. After changing my mind over million times, I graduated from B Street International Schools of Beauty, and have been doing hair for over 15 years. My road to being self-sufficient and managing entrepreneurship is a journey I hope you follow.
For me, Being MarTíka. I have recently found such a sense of fulfillment in my own life to blog about what interests my part of the world. Talking about many subjects from saving money, current social trends, my journey to living on a strict budget, living healthier, beauty and fashion, mommy blogs, and more. I enjoy writing about my passions, what interests me, what interests other people, and sharing it with the world. With each passing day, Being MarTíka gains more followers, and with that, great success.
